How To Install Songbird in Ubuntu
Songbird is a media player built on Mozilla that is often described as the Firefox of media players because of the growing number of plugins and feathers (skins) that can be applied to the player. It also includes a range of plugins for popular music ratings sites and blogs that add to your music listening pleasure. Although Songbird can be run on just about any platform you can think of we prefer to run it on our favourite Linux distribution: Ubuntu. Unfortunately, at last check, Songbird was not available yet in the standard Ubuntu repositories. Fortunately there is a really handy script available that takes the pain out of installing Songbird on Ubuntu.
